A guy finds a giant stuffed tiger and straps it to his roof and drives around. Someone calls 911 because the think the tiger is real.
Really stupid person, did you think about this for 2 goddam minutes before calling 911. How in the hell could someone get a real tiger on the roof of their car, then get the tiger to chill out enough to bungee cord it down. Really WTF.

Also, why is this news worthy?

Hopefully, to make the person who called the police think about their actions and stupidity.

The fact that people actually call in and order that shit proves the point of how dumb people are.

Probably not but hopefully someone, who knows the 911 caller will see the article, mention it, then the caller will stupidly say it was them who called. Then that person can ridicule them.

HA! I sometimes keep a life sized stuffed tiger in my bed facing out to screw with people. Its been raining so I haven’t had it in there, I tried it in my back seat, but it was kinda cumbersome. Here’s my tiger in my backseat:

I could try it with an equally ill-tempered dragon and let you know how that goes.

This will give you a laugh. Police were notified of a white tiger in a field. News reported at the time was that police originally thought it was real because it was looking directly at them, however when some officers moved round its stare didn’t follow them. The thermal imaging didn’t record any heat signature and though its not mentioned in the video below, they actually confirmed it wasn’t real when the helicopter got a closer look and the downwash rolled it over. Lol.

Give it a shot, if someone calls the police because you have a stuffed dragon on your car, they should be executed on the spot. If you are dumb enough to call the police because someone has an imaginary animal on their car you no longer get to live.

That was my first thought too, before I read the article.

That’s funny, I should to that too. Unfortunately, I don’t have a bed cover or back seat .

“News reported at the time was that police originally thought it was real because it was looking directly at them,”
I wonder if the officer felt ‘threatened’...

Not from the scene but I believe an armed Sussex Police Officer (aka APO ‘armed police officer’) can look after themselves okay. Images below are from varying forces in Sussex both regular and British Transport Police.
